Movement has always been Lacey’s first language. She grew up dancing ballet from childhood, through to her college years at Cornish College of the Arts, where movement became a place of expression, strength, and healing.
She later became a certified pilates and barre instructor, deepening her understanding of alignment, functional movement, and how the body transforms through intentional practice.
When Lacey lost her father to cancer at age 12, movement became therapy. It helped her process emotion, move through grief, and feel supported in a way nothing else could. She realized that movement doesn't just strengthen the physical body...it also helps the emotional and spiritual body heal and evolve.
After years of teaching, she began blending everything she knew and loved: dance, pilates, barre, functional strength, rebounding and lymphatic flow support into a method that felt nourishing and deeply aligned.
That’s how The Shed Movement was born!
A space to SHED what no longer serves you.
A safe and supportive platform that keeps you accountable and truly seen.
A practice that helps you return to your own rhythm and your most vibrant self.
Today, Lacey guides women through pilates-inspired movement, barre, functional strength training, rebounding, and her own intuitive sequencing. Her method reshapes the physical body while supporting clarity, energy, and inner strength.
She teaches private sessions in her studio, lovingly named The Shed, and built a thriving community through her YouTube channel. Now, The Shed Movement is expanding globally so women everywhere can experience the power of SHEDDING, strengthening, and coming home to themselves.
